Guppy started his career in EFW as part of the EFW World Championship Tournament when he faced MARKK in the first round but lost after MARKK reversed Guppy´s Cradle Shock finisher into a boot from MARKK´s manager, Kevin Stang. Guppy competed 2 weeks later in a 15 man Zero G battle royal, Guppy eliminated Barberino but was later eliminated by the eventual winner, Duke Jackson.
